The IFRS Foundation Trustees have launched a search for a new member of the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) from the Asia-Oceania region to succeed Hiroshi Komori, whose second term as a member ends on 30 September 2026.
Based in Tokyo, the role offers a chance to help shape IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards, which are designed to provide investors with high-quality, decision-useful information on sustainability-related risks and opportunities.
The closing date for applications is 8 May 2026.
