Rudolf Bless has been appointed as a Vice-Chair of the IFRS Foundation Trustees. He has served as a Trustee since January 2024.
Koushik Chatterjee, Steven Maijoor and Isabel de Saint Malo have been reappointed to serve second three-year terms as Trustees.
The Trustees are responsible for the organisational strategy, governance and oversight of the Foundation’s standard-setting bodies, the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) and the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB).
The appointments have been approved by the IFRS Foundation Monitoring Board, which consists of capital market authorities and fulfils a critical role in oversight of the Foundation.
