About the role

Reports to: Director of Talent Development

Job purpose: The core mandate is to design, shape, and execute, in partnership with stakeholders and the Talent Development Director, learning and development strategies and programs for our staff and people leaders that support business and cultural transformation.

The team: Working within the Talent Director team in strong collaboration with all members of the People/HR function.

Principal responsibilities

Talent management

  • Support the design and implementation of the IFRS Foundation Talent Development Programs, such as Performance Management, Talent reviews, Succession Planning, Leadership Development and L&D.
  • Advise and enable effective partnership on programme administration and execution.
  • Create guides and tools to support people leaders in managing their teams.
  • Gather and analyse data, such as training needs, that will translate into the Talent Management Agenda. Identify priorities and opportunities.
  • Support the creation of career paths for operational and technical staff.
  • Continuously update expertise and contribute to the continuous improvement of the service.
  • Manage the delivery of the engagement survey and collaborate with HR team members to support the creation of team action plans.
  • Administer the Talent Management Platform.
  • Develop and implement talent management performance indicators.

Talent development

  • Administer the Learning Management System: implement best practices, define security profiles and roles, act as SME and support content owners.
  • Create a L&D calendar for the IFRS Foundation.
  • Collaborate in the design and delivery of programs to accelerate the development of high potentials.
  • Collaborate in the design and delivery of leadership development programs.
  • Collaborate to identify and select external partners.
  • Manage external vendor partnerships that deliver facilitation or consultation solutions.
  • Structure orientation programs for new managers.
  • Develop and implement talent development performance indicators.

Diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI)

  • Research best practices on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) principles in jurisdictions and collaborate in the creation of the DEI strategy for the IFRS Foundation.
  • Manage the organisation-wide DEI programming calendar and related activities.
  • Co-lead the development, coordination and mobilization of the DEI Community of Practice/champions.
  • Develops strategic partnerships with internal teams for DEI change initiatives.
  • With key stakeholders, create policies and practices to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement DEI performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, HR Operational Partners and wider teams for EDI integration.

Skills, attributes and experience required

Qualifications and experience

  • Significant experience in leadership development, talent management and DEI.
  • University degree preferred in a relevant field (Adult Education, Organizational Development, HR, Psychology). A combination of education and experience will also be considered.
  • Strong expertise and working within a global environment, including diverse international cultures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite and experience with talent management systems and LMS.
  • Strong knowledge of L&D platforms.
  • Must have experience in facilitation, giving major presentations, developing team leadership, team consolidation and/or providing strategic support to leadership teams.
