The International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) expects to publish Proposed IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Taxonomy on 27 July 2023.

The document will be available to download from the Open for comment page and from the IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Taxonomy project page.

The ISSB will also host a webinar to discuss the contents of the proposed taxonomy on 3 August 2023. More details will be provided on 27 July.


 To comment on the proposed update, you will need an IFRS Foundation account. If you don't have one, you can create an account here.

Ensure you are up to date with all our forthcoming publications by signing up to receive these news stories as email alerts. To do this, sign in to your IFRS account, go to your dashboard and choose to follow 'Standards development', 'Consultative documents' or 'Standards, Amendments and Interpretations' depending on your needs.

'Standards development' alerts relate to all stages of a project, whereas 'Consultative documents' and 'Standards, Amendments and Interpretations' focus on those specific documents. You can also choose to receive updates and alerts relating to IFRS Standards and the IFRS Taxonomy from the dashboard.

Adjust the frequency of these alerts at the top of the dashboard by selecting 'immediate' or 'daily' from the dropdown menu. Email alerts are set to 'never' by default (except when you choose to follow a topic). For more information, please go to our getting started page.
