On 17 June 2021, the IFRS Foundation will hold the second in a series of live webinars on the Exposure Draft Disclosure Requirements in IFRS Standards—A Pilot Approach. The Exposure Draft was published by the International Accounting Standards Board (Board) in March 2021.

The first webinar provided an overview of the proposals in the Exposure Draft.

This second webinar will feature a question and answer session with Board Members Tadeu Cendon and Tom Scott, exploring in more detail the proposed new approach to developing disclosure requirements in IFRS Standards. This will include discussion of the Board’s views on particular aspects of the proposed approach, such as comparability, enforceability and electronic reporting.

For the convenience of prospective participants in different time zones, there will be two sessions of the webinar. Both sessions will cover the same content. Questions can be submitted in advance using the registration links below or during the live Q&A.

A recording of the webinar will be available on the project page and on our YouTube channel after the live discussion.
