IFRS Accounting Standards are developed by the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB). The IASB is an independent standard-setting body within the IFRS Foundation.
IFRS Accounting Standards are, in effect, a global accounting language—companies in more than 140 jurisdictions are required to use them when reporting on their financial health. The IASB is supported by technical staff and a range of advisory bodies.

We are looking for a technical associate to join our technical accounting team. Working on a range of technical accounting projects, the successful candidate will provide technical administrative support to project teams and to members of the International Accounting Standards Board.
Technical associates are generally appointed for a two-year term, during which they will develop their knowledge of technical accounting issues and of the standard-setting process. After two years, they are expected to move into a role in the accounting profession or in industry.
