The IFRS Foundation’s annual conference will be held at the Leonardo Royal Hotel London Tower Bridge on 26–27 June 2023. This year’s conference will again be a hybrid event—so you are invited to attend either in person or online.
This annual event offers a unique opportunity to hear about key developments at the IFRS Foundation, highlighting the work of the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) and the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB). The conference offers high-quality content for accounting and reporting professionals, regulators, investors and other stakeholders. We invite you to join, learn and engage with the board members and staff of the IFRS Foundation.
The keynote speeches from Andreas Barckow, Chair of the IASB, and Emmanuel Faber, Chair of the ISSB, are available below.
Mr Barckow spoke about the role of financial reporting in uncertain times, and how the IASB is supporting companies and ensuring investors’ information needs are met. Mr Faber spoke at approximately 13:30 BST to officially launch the inaugural ISSB Standards, IFRS S1 and IFRS S2.
This two-day conference covers the global change in standard-setting since the 2022 conference, and the roadmap for the next. The IASB and ISSB members and technical staff share their in-depth knowledge and expertise on a wide range of topics including:
