The International Accounting Standards Board expects to issue Covid-19-Related Rent Concessions, amending IFRS 16, and to publish a Proposed Taxonomy Update to reflect this amendment on 28 May 2020.
Stakeholders will be able to download the amendment from our website. Comprehensive subscribers will also be sent a printed copy of the document, and printed copies will also be available to order from the Web Shop.
The Proposed Taxonomy Update will be available to download from the Open for comment section and from the IFRS Taxonomy Update—Covid-19-Related Rent Concessions (Amendment to IFRS 16) project page. To comment on the PTU you will need to have an IFRS account, which can be created here.
