Biography
Keiko Tashiro, from Japan, is Advisor and Sustainability Champion at Daiwa Securities Group. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst and has worked at the Group of companies since 1986 in roles that have included Managing Director of various departments. She served as a Member of the Board and Deputy President of the Group until March 2026. She previously led International, Asset Management, Sustainability, and Financial Education initiatives within the Group. She has extensive knowledge and experience in overseas operations and corporate planning.
She is a member of the Financial System Council and the Business Accounting Council at the Japanese Financial Services Agency, a Vice Chairperson at the Japan Association of Corporate Executives, Member of the Board at the U.S-Japan Foundation, Vice Chair of the Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation, and Director of International House of Japan.
Keiko became an IFRS Foundation Trustee on 1 January 2022 and was appointed to serve a second term from 1 January 2025.
