Keiko Tashiro

Biography

Keiko Tashiro, from Japan, is Deputy President at Daiwa Securities Group, a position she has held since 2019. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst and has worked at the Group of companies since 1986 in roles that have included Managing Director of various departments. Before becoming its Deputy President, Keiko was a member of its Board from 2014. 

She currently serves as the Head of Asset Management, Sustainability, and Financial Education. She has extensive knowledge and experience in overseas operations and corporate planning.

She is a member of the Financial System Council and the Business Accounting Council at the Japanese Financial Services Agency and a Vice Chairperson at the Japan Association of Corporate Executives, among others.

Keiko became an IFRS Foundation Trustee on 1 January 2022 and was appointed to serve a second term from 1 January 2025.
