Biography
Sophie Massol is Head of Group Accounting Policies at AXA in France and is responsible for matters relating to IFRS Standards, including the implementation of accounting changes for the group. She has worked for AXA since 1991 and her various other roles at the group include Group Financial Controller, Head of Consolidation and Project Manager.
She is a member of the Board’s Transition Resource Group for IFRS 17 Insurance Contracts and is on EFRAG’s Insurance Accounting Working Group.
