The IFRS Foundation has moved

After being based at 30 Cannon Street in London for 17 years, the IFRS Foundation—including the Board—relocated to Canary Wharf in August 2018.

New IFRS 17 webcast: insurance contracts with participation and other features

This webcast provides an overview of the effect of participation and other features on the measurement of the fulfilment cash flows and the contractual service margin. It is part of a series that the Board is providing to support the implementation of IFRS 17.

Ten educational modules to support the IFRS for SMEs® Standard are now available

The IFRS Foundation is developing educational modules for the 2015 version of the IFRS for SMEs Standard to provide stakeholders with additional support in preparing and reading financial statements prepared in accordance with the Standard.

IFRS Foundation releases IFRS Taxonomy formula linkbase 2018

The IFRS Taxonomy formula linkbase 2018 is now available to download. It can be used with software tools supporting the XBRL formula specification 1.0.

Proposed update to the IFRS Taxonomy 2018 on IFRS 13 common practice

Call for members—IFRS Taxonomy Consultative Group

The Board is seeking candidates to join the IFRS Taxonomy Consultative Group from 1 April 2019. The IFRS Taxonomy Consultative Group contributes to the development of the IFRS Taxonomy by providing regular input on taxonomy-related issues. Find out how to apply here.

IASB Research Forum 2018—call for non-academic applicants

The Board will host its fifth Research Forum on 11 and 12 November 2018 in Sydney Australia, jointly with the accounting journal Abacus, and is now calling for people with backgrounds other than academia to apply to attend the event. Find out how to apply here.
