About the role
Job purpose: As Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Funding team including both the earned and contributed revenue programmes. You will be required to strategically promote the IFRS Foundation’s diverse range of products across Accounting and Sustainability, including licensing, IFRS Digital, the IFRS Sustainability Alliance, the FSA Credential and other new initiatives.
You will lead the planning, development and execution of comprehensive marketing campaigns that drive the Foundation’s earned revenue goals and support its fundraising initiatives. You will also be responsible for measuring the reach, results and impact of marketing campaigns to refine and enhance your strategies. You will be required to collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, engaging effectively to anticipate and fulfil their marketing needs.

Principal accountabilities
- Plan and manage global marketing campaigns across various channels, including email, social media, web, ads and events.
- Maintain and optimise HubSpot and other technology platforms required to run the Foundation’s channel marketing campaigns.
- Review and optimise lead nurturing email workflows, updating content as necessary.
- Develop, execute and optimise paid social media advertising campaigns across platforms.
- Track and report on marketing performance across channels including website, email (HubSpot), social media and Google Ads.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling content, including web copy, emails, social media posts, PowerPoint slides and videos (basic editing skills preferred but not required) for both earned and contributed revenue streams.
- Work with internal clients on the paid revenue and earned revenue teams to understand their marketing needs and provide campaigns and materials that achieve the desired results.
- Work with International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) and International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) communications directors to ensure consistency of messaging and integration of marketing activities with board communications.
- Translate complex technical content into clear, compelling marketing language that resonates with target audiences and enhances product positioning.
Qualifications and experience
- Proven experience in global marketing and communications, preferably in the professional services marketplace, with experience of marketing programmes focused on a C-suite audience.
- Proven experience of planning and managing integrated marketing campaigns with minimal direction/oversight.
- Hands-on experience of using marketing technology platforms (ideally HubSpot) to build, send, analyse and improve email nurture and demand generation campaigns.
- Proficiency in using social media advertising tools and analytics platforms.
- Expertise in crafting engaging content that simplifies technical concepts for diverse marketing channels, including web, email and social (basic video editing skills are desired but not required).
- Experience in using Analytics and Looker Studio to meet evolving reporting needs.
- Experience in selling services within a B2B experience.
- Experience in providing marketing support for funding programmes is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
