Join us for a webinar in which two practitioners discuss best practices and challenges from the 2024 sustainability disclosure reporting cycle.

Speakers include:

  • Esther An, Chief Sustainability Officer, City Developments Ltd (CDL);
  • Thomas Milburn, Senior Vice President, Sustainability, DBS Bank; and
  • Neil Stewart, Director of Corporate Outreach, IFRS Foundation.

Both CDL and DBS are working towards voluntarily applying IFRS S1 General Requirements for Disclosure of Sustainability-related Financial Information and IFRS S2 Climate-related Disclosures. They will discuss their experiences and learnings, including considering interoperability, proportionality mechanisms, transition reliefs and industry-specificity.

This webinar is hosted by the IFRS Sustainability Alliance, a global membership programme for investors, companies and advisors committed to establishing a global baseline for sustainability disclosures to meet capital market needs. Both CDL and DBS are IFRS Sustainability Alliance members. Neither guest speaker represents the views of the IFRS Foundation. Normally IFRS Sustainability Alliance programming is only open for Alliance members, but this webinar is an exception and is open to all. The IFRS Sustainability Alliance offers forums for peer-to-peer exchange.

This session will be interactive, so please bring your questions or submit them ahead of time via the registration form.
