Who we are looking for

We are looking for a positive and flexible customer-focused team player to join our Finance team.

Reporting to the Senior Accountant, your varied accounting duties will involve providing support for the revenue functions of the organisation, including licensing, publications and contributions. You will be responsible for reconciliation work, journal postings, monthly reporting and cash flow forecasts as well as regulatory reporting and taxation duties. In addition, you’ll provide support to colleagues in other areas of the Finance function from time to time.

Candidates who wish to be considered for this role must:

  • Have recent experience in a similar position, particularly with Accounts Receivable and VAT.
  • Be ACCA/CIMA/ACA part qualified or newly qualified. Training and career development will be provided if the appointed candidate is looking to complete their professional exams.
  • Have demonstrable knowledge and experience of accounting systems, strong MS office skills and must be proficient in Excel.
  • Be flexible in their attitude.
  • Have a high level of attention to detail and be able to produce reliable, accurate work.
  • Have an eagerness to learn and willingness to listen to others, and the ability to follow instructions and respond positively to constructive feedback.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and numerical skills and the ability to gather facts/statistics and identify trends/patterns.
