Virtual conference

About

The annual IFRS Foundation Conference will be held virtually for the second year running, due to the covid-19 pandemic and restrictions on physical conferences.

We will offer a packed programme of panel discussions, updates and interactive Q&A sessions, where delegates can ask presenters questions. We will also provide virtual networking opportunities with fellow delegates and speakers in a chatroom—all on a single platform.

This year’s conference coincides with the 20th anniversary of the International Accounting Standards Board (Board) and the end of the 10-year tenure of Board Chair Hans Hoogervorst. Some sessions will consider how capital markets and financial reporting have evolved; others will look into the future of corporate reporting.

Hear from Hans Hoogervorst; Sue Lloyd (Vice-Chair); Board Members Nick Anderson, Tadeu Cendon, Françoise Flores, Jianqao Lu, Tom Scott and Ann Tarca; and IFRS Foundation technical staff.

Additional Information

The two-day (3-4 June) programme includes:

  • a panel discussion about how capital markets and financial reporting have evolved over the past 20 years; and
  • further discussions on the future of corporate reporting, on the Board’s work plan and on the IFRS Foundation Trustees’ sustainability reporting plans.

We will also feature:

  • an update on the work of the Board and IFRS Interpretations Committee; and
  • a full day of breakout sessions where you can discuss the Board work that interests you.

More details can be found in the conference agenda.

Delegates will also be able to view recordings of the sessions after the conference.

We look forward to seeing you at #IFRSvirtual2021.
