Daniel Civit is a Partner, Head of the Accounting Practice Group in the Paris Office of Grant Thornton and a member of the GTIL’s global IFRS Interpretation Group.
Daniel has more than two decades of experience in the resolution of accounting and corporate reporting issues, as well as experience in standard-setting.
Daniel has worked in the Accounting practice group for eighteen years at EY, before which he served a variety of commercial and industrial clients as an auditor at Mazars. He developed a strong expertise on Business combination, Consolidation, Impairment and Share-based compensation as a member of various global technical groups at EY and more recently was involved in IFRS 15 and IFRS 16 transition projects for several preparers.
He is also a Member of the French Accounting Standards Board’s IFRS Discussion Group (Forum on the Application of IFRS, the Steering Committee created by the French Standard-Setter) and the CNCC’s Accounting Committees dealing with IFRS and French Accounting issues (The CNCC – Compagnie Nationale des Commissaires aux Comptes – is the French Professional Auditing Body).
Daniel is a graduate of the ESC Fontainebleau a French Business School.
