Clive Brown is the Chief Executive Officer of RBC Global Asset Management (RBC GAM) International, and a member of the RBC GAM Executive Committee. Mr Brown is based in London and is responsible for leading RBC GAM’s businesses outside of North America, with a focus on Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA) and the Asia Pacific region.
Mr Brown has a BSc in Chemical Physics from Bristol University. He trained as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse in London, qualifying in 1986 and subsequently worked for them in the United States of America and Hong Kong. In 1991 he joined Jardine Fleming in Hong Kong and assumed increasingly senior roles within that organization before it was acquired by JP Morgan in 2000. In 2003 he became the CEO for J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s International business covering EMEA and Asia and subsequently the Global Chief Operating Officer. He was a member of JP Morgan’s Group Executive Committee and its EMEA and Asia Management Committees and in addition chaired its EMEA and Asia Management committees and in addition chaired its Global Investment Management Executive Committee.
