IFRS Foundation Conference 2024

The IFRS Foundation’s annual conference will be held at the Leonardo Royal Hotel London Tower Bridge on 24–25 June 2024. You are invited to attend the hybrid event either in person or online.

Delegates will hear first-hand from a range of experts in financial reporting, both in accounting and sustainability disclosures; regulators and standard-setters.

You will also hear from the Chairs of the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) and the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB), as well as IFRS Foundation technical staff on important progress that has been made in key projects.

The IASB will have issued a new IFRS Accounting Standard by the time this conference arrives. IFRS 18 will improve companies’ financial performance reporting. At the IFRS Foundation Conference, delegates can equip themselves with key information about this new Standard and ask technical staff and board members any burning questions.

The latest from the ISSB

One year after the publication of the ISSB’s first two IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards, we’ll have a first look at progress towards adoption. Technical staff will share insights into implementation guidance for companies interested in using these Standards to report on their sustainability-related risks and opportunities. Emmanuel Faber and the ISSB team will also look ahead to the next priorities for the ISSB.

We have a packed programme of panel discussions, updates, deep-dive breakout sessions and an interactive ‘ask me anything’ Q&A session at which delegates can ask board members and staff questions.
