IFRS Standards are required for domestic public companies tick The Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Barbados has adopted IFRS Standards as the national accounting standards of Barbados. While use of another accounting framework is technically permitted, in fact all listed companies do use IFRS Standards.
