Project history of the IFRS Taxonomy 2010

• 15 July to 14 August 2009 - IFRS Foundation issues two  Requests for Information on architectural improvements to the IFRS Taxonomy.
• 28 September to 27 November 2009 - IFRS Foundation releases an  exposure draft of the IFRS for Small and Medium-sized Entities (SMES) for public comment. 
• 9 December 2009 - IFRS Foundation publishes:
  • A project summary and feedback statement on Architectural improvements to the IFRS Taxonomy, which summarises the architectural improvements to be implemented in the 2010 taxonomy as a result of the consultations in July and August 2009.
  • The IFRS Taxonomy 2010 Architecture Draft for public comment, which documents in detail the proposed architecture of the 2010 taxonomy, following feedback from the exposure draft IFRS for SMEs Taxonomy and also feedback from the consultations in July and August 2009.
• 19 February to 22 April 2010 - IFRS Foundation issues an  exposure draft of the IFRS Taxonomy 2010 for public comment. 
• 30 April 2010 - IFRS Foundation issues the final IFRS Taxonomy 2010.
