Translation announcements


 New Arabic, Brazilian Portuguese, Hebrew, Japanese, Kazakh, French and Spanish translations available online


 

The IFRS Foundation is pleased to announce the publication of the following translations:

 

·         Arabic translation of the 2013 International Financial Reporting Standards (Red Book). eIFRS/Comprehensive subscribers can access the Arabic translation of the 2013 IFRS (Red Book) in the secure subscriber area on eIFRS (you will be required to provide your login details). The publication is also available in printed format; please see our Web Shop for further information.

 

·         Brazilian Portuguese translation of the 2013 International Financial Reporting Standards (Red Book). eIFRS/Comprehensive subscribers can access the Brazilian translation of the 2013 IFRS (Red Book) in the secure subscriber area on eIFRS (you will be required to provide your login details). The publication is also available in printed format; please see our Web Shop for further information.

 

·         Hebrew translation of the 2013 consolidated, unaccompanied IFRSs (Red Book). Official pronouncements issued at 1 January 2013. Includes IFRSs with an effective date after 1 January 2013 but not the IFRSs they will replace. eIFRS/Comprehensive subscribers can access the Hebrew translation in the secure subscriber area on eIFRS (you will be required to provide your login details). The publication is also available in printed format; please see our Web Shop for further information.

 

·         Japanese translation of the 2013 International Financial Reporting Standards (Red Book). eIFRS/Comprehensive subscribers can access the 2013 Japanese of the 2013 IFRS (Red Book) in the secure subscriber area on eIFRS (you will be required to provide your login details). The publication is also available in printed format; please see our Web Shop for further information.

 

·         Kazakh translation of the 2013 consolidated, unaccompanied IFRSs (Red Book). Official pronouncements issued at 1 January 2013. Includes IFRSs with an effective date after 1 January 2013 but not the IFRSs they will replace. Available on the Official IFRS Translations page .

 

·         French translation of Defined Benefit Plans: Employee Contributions (Amendments to IAS 19), issued by the IASB in English in November 2013. eIFRS/Comprehensive subscribers can access the French translation from eIFRS (you will be required to provide your login details). eIFRS is updated throughout the year with French translations of new and revised Standards, as issued by the IASB, as the translations become available. At present, the files correspond to the text used for the adoption of IFRS into law, and do not include the accompanying material such as the Basis for Conclusions and the Illustrative Examples.

 

·         Spanish translation of Defined Benefit Plans: Employee Contributions (Amendments to IAS 19), issued by the IASB in English in November 2013. eIFRS/Comprehensive subscribers can access the Spanish translation from eIFRS (you will be required to provide your login details). eIFRS is updated throughout the year with Spanish translations of new and revised Standards, as issued by the IASB, when they become available.
