Translation announcements


 New Finnish, French, Georgian and Spanish translations available online


 

The IFRS Foundation is pleased to announce the publication of the following translations:

  • Finnish translation of 2014 IFRS (Blue Book): now available in print and e-book formats from the Web Shop.
  • French translation of the Exposure Draft: Investment Entities: Applying the Consolidation Exception (Proposed amendments to IFRS 10 and IAS 28), issued by the IASB in English in June 2014. Comments to be received by 15 September 2014. The document can be accessed via the “Comment on a proposal” webpage. At present, the French file corresponds to the text used for the adoption of IFRS into law, and does not include the accompanying material such as the Basis for Conclusions and the Illustrative Examples.
  • Georgian translation of IFRS for SMEs 2009 and 2013 Guide for Micro-sized Entities: now available in print format from the Web Shop.
  • Spanish translation of Clarification of Acceptable Methods of Depreciation and Amortisation (Amendments to IAS 16 and IAS 38), issued by the IASB in English in May 2014.
  • Spanish translation of the Exposure Draft: Investment Entities: Applying the Consolidation Exception (Proposed amendments to IFRS 10 and IAS 28), issued by the IASB in English in June 2014. Comments to be received by 15 September 2014. The document can be accessed via the “Comment on a proposal” webpage.

eIFRS Professional and Comprehensive subscribers can access the above translations from eIFRS (you will be required to provide your login details). This section is updated throughout the year with translations of new and revised Standards as issued by the IASB, as the translations become available.
