Luca Cencioni

Luca Cencioni was appointed to the IFRS Interpretations Committee in July 2008 for a term of three years (term renewed until June 2014). 

He is manager at Eni Administrative Department, Italy, where he is responsible for Group Accounting Policy. He has developed wide experience in preparing IFRS consolidated and single enterprise financial statements and in the adoption of US GAAP.

He is member of the group organized by major Oil & Gas companies for the analysis of accounting issues concerning the application of IFRS and US GAAP and is a member of national technical committees for accounting and corporate governance matters. He is also member of the Advisory panel for the IASB extractive industries project.

He is a regular speaker at conferences on IAS/IFRS.
