Kazuo Yuasa

Kazuo Yuasa was appointed to the IFRS Interpretations Committee in July 2011 for a term of 1 year (the remaining period of Mr Ochi’s term as a member of the Interpretations Committee).

Kazuo Yuasa is General Manager, IFRS Office, Corporate Finance Unit, Fujitsu Limited, Japan. He is Head of the Company’s global implementation of IFRS and is responsible for Group Finance Policy and Procedures.

Mr. Yuasa has wide experience in financial reporting practices in US and in Japan.

He has been a member of the IFRS Adoption Task Force jointly organised by Nippon Keidanren and Japanese Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as a member of IFRS Practice Group of the Accounting Standards Board of Japan.
