IASB agenda consultation
In February 2010 the Trustees of the IFRS Foundation, the oversight body of the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB), announced enhancements to their governance arrangements.
One of the changes to the constitution was the decision to undertake a three-yearly public consultation on the IASB's future technical agenda, in addition to consulting the Trustees and the IFRS Advisory Council annually on the existing and future agenda.
This public consultation will be carried out every three years, the first of which shall begin no later than 30 June 2011.
The IASB has certain criteria against which to access potential projects. For more information, click here.
