What can I find on the eIFRS Web App?
You can find up-to-date information about IFRS meetings and events, the Work plan for IFRSs, IFRS News and up to date Standards (including the IFRS Red, Blue and Green Books; any new, revised or amended Standards for the current year and the IFRS for SMEs). You can also manage your email alerts.
How do I access the Standards?
Please note that Registered Users will require a Subscription to access the Standards via the eIFRS Web App. Registered Users are entitled to a 10% discount. To find out more please read the How to become an eIFRS Subscriber Guide.
Navigate to the Standards page:
Select which collection you would like to read, and decide whether you want to store this for offline use. If you wish to read it online select the book title and then the chapter title, if you want to read it offline, select store and the eIFRS Web App will cache the collection for offline viewing.
Please note: eIFRS Web App uses the latest HTML5 technology to permit offline access to the Standards. We recommend that when storing a collection you use a Wi-Fi connection to avoid using up your mobile data allowance.
If you need any more assistance, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
How many Standards collections can I store for offline access?
This is dependent on the cache restrictions of your individual device, but we expect that you will be able to download two Books, the IFRS for SMEs and new Standards (e.g. the Blue and Red Book, plus the IFRS for SMEs and the new and revised Standards).
How do I logout?
To logout, please select the "i" button on the top right-hand side, scroll to the bottom of this menu and click logout. Please note: this will remove any stored collections.
Why can’t I log in?
You need to be a Registered User or an eIFRS Subscriber to access the eIFRS Web App.
Please use your eIFRS log in details to access the eIFRS Web App. If you need any more assistance, please email us at email@example.com.

How do I check if I am a Registered User or a Subscriber?
A Registered User has registered for free content on the www.ifrs.org or eIFRS website. They will have access to the Standards without accompanying materials. A Subscriber is a user who has purchased a Subscription from the IFRS Web Shop and has access to the full Standards, accompanying documents and the eIFRS Archive.
If you would like to register to become a Registered User, please follow this link: http://eifrs.ifrs.org/IB/Register

How often is the content updated?
Content for the eIFRS Web App will be updated within 30 minutes of updates being published on eIFRS, when connected to the Internet. If you are not connected to the Internet you can access the cached content that has previously been downloaded to the device.
Does the App update?
Yes, whenever a new version of the eIFRS Web App is available, you will receive a pop-up message notifying you that a new version is available. We recommend that you always accept these updates.

When you log in to the eIFRS Web App, the first page you will see is the homepage, which looks like this:
From here you can access the News, Standards, Calendar and Projects sections by clicking on the buttons at the bottom, or you can select a News Item to read in full, or a calendar event to expand for more information.

Click on a story to expand and read the full version.
The Standards page looks like this:
Select which collection would like to read and decide whether you want to store this for offline use. If you want to read it online select the book title and then the chapter title. If you want to read it offline, then select "Store" and the eIFRS Web App will cache the collection for offline viewing.
Please note: eIFRS Web App uses the latest HTML5 technology to permit offline access to the Standards. When you go to the Standards page, you have a choice to either view the Standards online (by clicking the book title and then the chapter title) or storing that collection for offline access (by clicking the Store button). We suggest that when storing a collection you use a Wi-Fi connection to avoid using up your mobile data allowance.
If you need any more assistance, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
How many items are shown on the News and Calendar feeds?
The News and Calendar feeds show the ten most recent news stories and events. If you want to search for a particular event or news item, please use www.ifrs.org.
Will downloaded content remain on my device permanently?
Downloaded content is stored in your browser’s application cache. The amount of storage space allocated varies by device but it is usually around 50mb, or approximately two Bound Volumes' worth of PDF files. If you reach the maximum allowable content size, the browser may remove older cached items. In these instances, re-downloading the content will be necessary to access the Standards once again.
Your device cache can be cleared in a number of ways, for example:
- by you logging out of the eIFRS Web App; or
- by upgrading your device's operating system or browser or restoring from a back-up; or
- by changing the settings: for example, on iOS devices, through Settings → Safari → Clear Cookies and Data; or through swiping the item: Safari → Advanced → Website Data → eifrs.ifrs.org → Delete.
How long does each download take?
This depends on the particular collection being downloaded and your Internet connection speed. When storing the collection we recommend that you use a Wi-Fi connection to avoid using up your data allowance. The file size of a typical collection is around [20MB].
How long can I keep the Standards on my device?
The content remains accessible until your Subscription expires. Please note that you must be an eIFRS Subscriber to access the Standards via the eIFRS Web App.
If you log out of the eIFRS Web App your collections will no longer be stored.
Do I need Internet access to use the eIFRS Web App?
The first time you access the eIFRS Web App, you will have to be connected to the Internet. We recommend that you connect via a Wi-Fi connection to avoid using up your mobile data allowance. After this point and during the course of your subscription, you can access the Standards offline, but please note that they will not necessarily be the most up-to-date version. To ensure that you have the most up-to-date information, we recommend that you stay connected to the Internet. Also, please note that the 'Projects Work Plan' and 'My eIFRS' areas are only available online.
What can I use when the eIFRS Web App is offline?
You will be able to access all previously downloaded content, but you may miss content added since you were last connected to the Internet. Please note that you will require an Internet connection in order to access the 'Projects Work Plan' and 'My eIFRS'.
Do I need new login details for the eIFRS Web App?
No, you only need to be an eIFRS Registered User or Subscriber to access the eIFRS Web App. Please use your eIFRS log in details to enter the eIFRS Web App. If you need any more assistance, please email us at email@example.com or use the feedback button on the eIFRS Web App (under the ”i” icon) or call us on +44 (0)207 332 2730.
