On 18 December 2008 the IASB published a proposed new standard on Consolidation.
The document is open for public comment until 20 March 2009.
Alan Teixeira, Director of Technical Activities, along with Patrina Buchanan and Michael Buschhueter, Project Managers, will be introducing the proposals in a live web presentation on 8 January 2009 followed by a question and answer session. For the convenience of our constituents in the different time zones there will be two time slots for the web presentation.
Questions can be submitted during the presentation via the Web presentation facilities. Instructions on how to do so will be given at the beginning of the presentation. The questions will be answered as time allows after the presentation.
