The fifth meeting of the Financial Crisis Advisory Group is taking place on 22 May at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, London - The City, 19 New Bridge Street, London EC4V 6DB at 8.00am London time.
The meeting is open to the public and will be live audio webcasted on the IASB website. More information about the meeting including further details on how to register to listen to the audio webcast, or live public session, are available on the Meetings page.
The FCAG has been set up jointly by the IASB and the US Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) to consider financial reporting issues arising from the global financial crisis. The group comprises recognised leaders from the fields of business and government with a broad range of experience in international financial markets. The IASB and FASB announced the group membership on 30 December 2008.
Recommendations from the advisory group will be jointly considered by the two boards. Any decisions to act upon the recommendations will be subject to appropriate and thorough due process.
