Be part of the second IFRS Foundation IFRS Conference in Latin America
The IFRS Conference São Paulo offers a unique opportunity to be updated by members and staff of the IASB on its active projects as well as on its future plans. Presenters from the IFRS Foundation and IASB will include Hans Hoogervorst (the IASB’s Chairman), Pedro Malan (IFRS Foundation Trustee) and IASB members—Stephen Cooper, Amaro Gomes, Jan Engström and Darrel Scott, as well as a number of senior IASB technical staff and other IFRS experts. The keynote speech will be given by Dr Alexandre Tombini, Governor, Central Bank of Brazil.
Technical break out sessions conducted by IASB members and their technical staff will provide a forum for discussing major projects on the IASB’s active agenda in more detail.
In addition, pre-conference special interest sessions will provide an excellent opportunity to learn from the experiences of those who have already implemented or are preparing to implement the main new IFRSs that become mandatory from 1 January 2013. Separate sessions will also be provided for investment professionals and analysts as well as for those interested in the IFRS Interpretations Committee’s progress and plans.
