The Foundation is reviewing the services it requires to broadcast meeting and Webinar events to the public via the internet. Meeting webcasts include both single and multi-point events. Direct connection to a Webcast service provider is required for single end point events and, on occasions, a bridging service is used with multiple end points.
Events for broadcast are often scheduled around a two week period every month, in eleven months of the year. The video conference equipment in use is provided by Polycom and produces an HD output. A dedicated IP network optimised for video streaming connects the VC infrastructure to the internet.
The Foundation is seeking detailed proposals for broadcasting and archival capabilities. Please provide details of your proposed solution, with supporting documentation, architecture diagrams, feature analysis and, where possible, customer testimonials and case-studies to support the recommendation.
Further information can be obtained by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
Closing date for the proposals is September 13 2013.
