In December last year, the staff of the IASB issued a survey on disclosures in financial reporting. The deadline for responses is 15 January 2013.
The survey is directed at users and preparers and others who are interested in or affected by disclosure requirements. It is aimed at assisting the IASB to gain a clearer picture on the perceived ‘disclosure problem’ in advance of the IASB's forthcoming public Discussion Forum on that matter. The public forum will take place on 28 January 2013 in London, UK.
All responses to the survey will be confidential and no information published will be attributable to any individual or organisation. The survey will take around 10 minutes to complete (depending on the amount of additional information you may wish to provide).
The survey can be accessed via this link.
If you wish to review the full survey before completing it online, PDF versions for preparers and users can be accessed via this link. In each case, the questions assume that you agree that there is a disclosure problem and, in the case of users, that you use annual reports. If you feel you do not fit into one of these categories but would still like a copy of the full survey, please contact us and we can send you a tailored version.
