The Trustees of the IFRS Foundation meet for two days every quarter. Reflecting the IFRS Foundation's objective to promote the use of a single set of global standards across the world, the Trustees' meetings are held at venues all over the world.
The Trustees make their formal decisions by voting. At least 60 per cent of the Trustees must be present to vote in person or by telecommunications, and each Trustee has one vote. Decisions are taken by simple majority vote on matters other than termination of the appointment of a Trustee, amendments to the Constitution, or minor variations made in the interest of feasibility of operations, in which cases a 75 percent majority is required.
All meetings or the Trustees apart from administrative sessions are held in public and webcast recordings of past meetings can be accessed via the meeting page links in the tables below.
